Fire In The Hall Part I

This sad sight is a former apartment building. There was a café downstairs. In 2018 it burned down Unfortunately one person died.

The neighboring house burned down in 2020. It had already been demolished.

For one reason or another the owners of this house didn’t demolish it. By the time I took these photos, it had been standing as a ruin for more than four years.

Even one of the auxiliary buildings had caught fire.

The third building on the lot had escaped the destruction.

The entrances to the apartments were at the back.

Someone musical has lived here.

There’s been life after fire here.

Entering the first apartment.

This looks bad.

I didn’t go very deep inside the building, as I wasn’t sure about the condition of the floor.

In the hall of the second apartment was a puzzle. Or at least a part of it.

The fire and smoke had damaged every apartment, it seems.

The destruction here was worse than in the previous apartment.

Didn’t go further. Let’s see, what’s behind the next door.
