From Serving Customers To Permanent Customers Part III

A look at the kitchen shelf reveals a collection of canned everything.

A text commemorationg the 40th anniversary of the inhabitants moving from one place to the current location. I believe, that they have made this after the abandonment of the building. Otherwise this makes no sense.

Names and location info have been removed.

Another empty food package. This time it’s cheese.

Now it’s time to go upstairs to the original apartment. It seems, that in later renovations, the entrances to the upstairs and the café have been merged to one lobby.

And here we are in the kitchen, where once again two different stove models are present. A very common feature in abandoned Finnish homes, as you probably have learned by now.

Here the inhabitant has admired something quite different than harmonicas.

The original apartment had undergone a big renovation around the same time as the downstairs was renovated into apartments.

The upstairs apartment consisted of two rather large rooms.

An interesting arrangement.

The toilet. And now I have to make a confession. I was quite in the need of taking a dump, and there was toilet paper available. So, well… I’m sorry.

Back in the kitchen again.

I might be mistaken, but I think that’s coffee.

There was a narrow, dark space between the kitchen and the bedroom.

Somebody has arranged calendars, magazines and info leaflets on the bed.

And again cans of medicines on the window board. Have they really been that sick here, or have they been left here by the visitors. We’ll never know.

But now the final rooms and corners of this location have been explored and documented. It is time to move on.
