One Gone, One Open Part I

Once again I returned to the familiar mental asylum, I had tried to enter both in 2020 and 2021. Except, that there was no mental asylum.

Or well, technically the building was still there, it had just changed form.

The demolition was so fresh, that they were still crushing concrete in the back yard. But this wasn’t all. The old mansion was still in the area, but was still accessible. Then there was the third building, which I thought was another hospital building.

It later turned out that it wasn’t. But let’s not rush.

Because surprisingly enough there was an open door.

The rooms were mostly empty. This piece of gym equipment was one of the few things inside.

They had done a thorough job cleaning the place.

A small kitchen. The fashion is quite similar to the previous location I photographed.

The floors seemed to be different in every room.

Black bathroom tiles. Pretty rough.

A different layout in this room.

Back to basics again.

The showers were of a different design than the bathroom.

Oh, there are even curtains here.

Looking downhill towards the demlished hospital.

That was the downstairs of the brick built part of the building. Less surprisingly it is now time to go up.
