Very Tiny And Nothing Inside

The following day I was back on the road driving towards my next intended location. That was when I spotted something interesting on the outskirts of a small village.

A somewhat abandoned looking tiny cottage next to a forest car track. No windows, all open doors.

The first look inside.

One of the doors in the hall led to this small room.

The other one was just a cupboard.

Thsi is the former kitchen and living room, or what is remaining of it. The ceiling had collapsed tumbling all the sawdust and other stuff used as insulation down inside.

There was another room, but I couldnt access it.

The usual story. Water found its way in next to the chimney, made the insulation damp and heavy causing a collapse.

Not much to see here. But I did manage to add another hut to my count.

The back side, which clearly shows the damage to the roof.

The next time I drove past the cottage the following summer, it had vanished. Not the biggest of losses, I’d say.
