Looks Like They Don’t Care Anymore

Another evening, another town. I met a former friend I’ve known for years and we decided to go on an adventure to a nearby suburb. We didn’t even have to look for long, before we found a huge demolition site.

This here is a former health care center and nursing home. It is making way for new blocks of flats. So no care given here anymore.

The walls were still standing but judging by the amount of sorted debris the interiors were largely gone by now.

It would probably not be too long before bulldozers arrived.

And because of that there really wasn’t that much to see here anymore.

This section looked like it was still pretty much intact. Even the lights still seem to be on.

But unfortunately asbestos removal had already started, and the place was out of bounds.

The building was razed that summer. Not much of an adventure this time. We did manage to find a graveyard full of old Volvos, some wild blueberries and a nice old man with a nice old dog. But they weren’t enough to be classified as urbex photos.
