Entering the final apartment I found another small bathroom.

Apparently this is a Finnish book for early pupils, as the words have been hyphenated. The story on the left is about kittens, the one on the right about ghost stories.

Teeth brushing instructions on the wall of the bathroom.

The living room. The curtains and wallpaper have really taken a hit here.

A yearbook from 1993. These have been published yearly since 1950 and are a common find in abandoned buildings.

What did I just say?

Gift paper from an electronics chain. It is very old, as the logo hasn’t been like that even in my childhood.

This apartment even had its own fireplace. It is at least the third one found in the school and the apartment building and all of them have been different.

More giftwrap from the electronics company. This one has survived better.

The kitchen. This one has been renovated at some point but it is not as modern as the one in the first apartment.

Nice, colorful shelf paper. The lower one reminds me of a tablecloth we had as a child.

The exit.

This apartment had its own entrance to the basement. As the apartments had no showers, I believe there is a sauna deparment down there.
But I ain’t going there.

Bedroom one. This apartment was larger than the two other, identical ones.

Bedroom two. Mold is covering the walls.

And the roof. It was actually pretty strange, how some rooms were so badly infested and others had none at all.

The wallpaper is coming down.

The small bits on the floor are paint and glass.

As you can see, not much is left of the windows.

A face mask. A reminder of the times we were living.

One final look at the dormitory and then I’m out.
A wonderful, wonderful location and a great way to celebrate 100 entered buildings. However I now have more questions than answers.
Why was this school built in the middle of nowhere in the first place? How did it last in school use until the late 1990’s? And who designed it, as it has some of the strangest features I have ever seen?
So many questions, so little answers.
