As I’ve stated before, I work in a media closely related to the construction business. Because of that I meet a lot of people in this branch. They all know about my hobby, and they often provide good tips.
And this October afternoon I was going after one of them. An area, which would soon be redeveloped into apartments.
On the edge of it was a small and ruined one family house.
It was all open doors, so why not go in?
It was a fairly primitive space with lots of personal documents remaining.
A surprise was, that the documents actually included recipes.
Those are very old fashioned skis.
And more recipes. That one is of a pancake.
Entering the kitchen, then.
A horizontal view of the same space. It was a fairly spacious kitchen.
It included the old wood powered stove as well as a more modern stove.
And a lot of shirt buttons.
A former washing machine with a jar of instant coffee on top of it.

Expired in 1998? This house surely can’t have been abandoned for that long?
A better look at the kitchen.
This has probably been the living room. And that thing over there looks like a doctor’s bag.
And once again a horizontal view from the same location. The central heating system doesn’t seem to have provided enough.
I didn’t turn it around for a better look. But it sure does look like a doctor’s bag.

There probably had been a large oven in that corner. It had been replaced by a more modern stove at some point. It no longer was modern, though.
Back in the spacious kitchen.
And moving on to the bedroom.

And even a box of explosives. Who has lived in this building?
Well, someone, who enjoyed the occasional Koskenkorva vodka and rum.
