There was a small lobby behind the store with doors to many directions.

Old food ads.

A small back office – with a safe.

A hefty amount of files from different years. The shift from the S-group to K-group probably happened in the 1980’s.

More files and brocuhres here.

Stickers with important numbers everywhere. Most of them feature the old phone numbers beginning with a 9. The change from 9 to 0 came in 1996 again confirming the date of abandonment.

More proof comes in the form of this calendar, which has stopped at November 1996.

Another back room. There has really been a lot of office space for a store so small.

This looks like the archive of the store.

Old accounting from more than 30 years ago.

The back of the archive room.

An old beer bottle. Back when I was 18, I used to drink these. Nowadays no bulk beer is sold in bottles anymore.

Old freezing bags on sale.

Vintage food ads on the wall of the store.
At this point a mother and at least one child passed the store. The child really wanted to enter, and the mother had to suppress the curiosity. We were hiding behind the shelves and columns of the building for quite some time.

More old lottery tickets.

Behind the store were stairs up.

So let’s go there!

There was an apartment upstairs. Or maybe several. But the state of the ceiling downstairs didn’t really encourage us to go further.

And so another exploration is completed. This one was a real good catch.
