I was contacted by a friend, who told me, that around 20 years ago their parents bought a large lot with an old house on it from outside town. They were planning to demolish the old house and build a new one to replace it.
Things didn’t go as planned, and a few years ago they sold the area. My friend’s parents told me that I could visit the place if I liked.

Here it is, and most definitely it is abandoned. The place doesn’t even have a door anymore.
But I still didn’t enter. The funny thing was that despite being abandoned for decades, somebody is still cutting the grass. There was also a large army tent on the yard, and it looked a bit like there was smoke coming from its chimney.
Strange, I’d say. Really strange.
My friend and I explored an abandoned psychiatric hospital last weekend. As soon as we entered, we found some homeless people who had set up one of the larger rooms as their actual apartment. There was no heat, running water, or electricity, but somehow they still managed to stay there regardless.

That’s one of my worst fears. I hope they were nice towards you.
Ps. Great photos from a wonderful location!
