Embraced By Fjelds Part III

This is the upstairs corridor. It is very similar to the one downstairs.

There was a window at the end of the corridor. The views are still spectacular.

And just like downstairs there was a tiny kitchen.

There was also a toilet and a shower. These were located a bit differently than downstairs.

The first of the standard rooms. This one has curtains still left.

The second room didn’t.

All rooms featured a small cupboard right next to the entrance.

A close up on door frames.

They were of different colors.

I could count at least three.

Another room with curtains.

The far end of the corridor. The stairway is to the right.

There was also an attic. A good question is, why I didn’t go there.

Finally outside. And heading towards the staff apartment building.

My best attempt at capturing the whole complex in one picture.

A beautiful Volvo lurking on the driveway.

The staff apartment building. Surprisingly there were cameras (there really were). The building was probably used as a summer accommodation for berry pickers.

And so a final look at the old nursing home. I was allowed to explore undisturbed, although I’m pretty sure that at least someone in the village noticed I was there. Visitors don’t go unnoticed in places like this.
