Embraced By Fjelds Part II

Right next to the main entrance was this beautiful room with a fireplace. This probably was the common room of the institution.

The fireplace was simple, yet stylish.

A look backwards.

The common room was followed by a short corridor.

The kitchen of the institution was to the left of it.

There was a small room next to the kitchen. The staff apartment building from the 1970’s can be seen through the windows.

A look back towards where I came from.

This room looks like the canteen. The trays have been placed in the recess.

The other side of the hatch.

The kitchen was fairly large in size compared to the rest of the building.

The dishwasher.

I wonder what these have been for.

The scenery outside was pretty magnificent with all the fjelds in the background.

This probably is the far end of the building behind the kitchen.

They look like office rooms. I think there was still an apartment in the end of the wing, but it had a separate entrance.

Or then this was the apartment, because this sure looks like a kitchen.

So what do we have here? Names written on leaves.

Time to head upstairs.

The leaves were from a tree in the stairway. Either they were names of the last residents or a memorial tree for deceased ones.

The lobby upstairs was identical to the one downstairs.

There was a corridor ahead.

And one larger room with a toilet of its own by it. This is probably above the area with the showers downstairs.

At the far end there was a small balcony.

Back in the second floor lobby. So one more corridor to explore.
