Slick As Silk Part II

Another dark corridor.

The logo of the company was on the facade in huge metallic letters.

This space looks like a kitchen.

And it probaby is one. In its heyday the factory employed around 150 people. Of course they needed a canteen.

The kitchen was clearly recognizable.

If that was the kitchen, this is probably the canteen.

Guessed right.

Whatever that is, it’s been made by a heating manufacturer.

Another manufacturing hall.

One more stairway down. Because of the location near the canteen, I believe, that this is the main stairway.

This time I accepted the invitation and went to see what there was downstairs. The building was located on a hillside, so a part of the ground floor was underground.

The main stairway. The building was built in the last years, when somebody still put emphasis on industrial architecture.

The downstairs consisted of narrow corridors with lockers.

Like I’ve said numerous times, I don’t like basements. Spaces like this are uninviting. Besides it was damp and cold.

And this looks like the real locker and shower room. I wonder, why the lockers are in the corridor.

The claim is correct.

Well, that doesn’t look very healthy.

Surprised to find this kind of things here in the basement.

I wonder, what these systems do.

The rooms were extremely cold and damp.

Like I said, it wasn’t a very welcoming environment.

But I stayed.
