Another roadside discovery: a village store. Judging by its appearance it has been closed for ages.
There was a broken window and the way in was clear. The only issue was a middle aged woman pushing a baby carriage on the highway back and forth. As she wasn’t leaving, I decided to go and talk to her.
She was trying to get her grandchild to sleep. I told about my adventures and asked, if the owners of the store would mind if I entered.
“Well, I don’t think they will”, she said. And that’s how I knew I was safe.

So in I went.

The wallpaper in the toilet was very vintage.

The sauna was right next to the entrance.

And the stove was just waiting to be lit.

Something large and wooden was dismantled in one corner.

The vintage wallpapers continued in every room.

A vintage box of cigarillos.

The kitchen. The color of the cupboards is again the same as in my kitchen back in 2020-2021.

I wonder what happened here.

Apples from New Zealand.

The light looks special.

Another look at the kitchen. The traditional stove is to the left, the more modern one to the right.

The curtains were closed in almost every room.

I think the roof may be leaking.

Let’s just say that the patterns in both the wallpapers and the curtains were pretty extreme.

Another oven waiting to be lit.

The light in the house was somewhat magical.

Let’s be frank: the blue and green don’t go very well together.
Another post coming up from this location.
