The beginning of the corridor. The staff apartments were mere rooms in the era, when this building was built.

And here we have the first of the rooms.

A job application and an employment certificate, which dates back to the late 1950’s. Amazing.

More employment certificates.

Newspapers from as late as 2012. That was when the center for asylum seekers moved away from the area.

And even more employment certificates, this time from the 1960’s.

The kitchen of this apartment contained a lot of something.

The cupboards haven’t been treated well.

Apparently the archive of the hospital has been located here. The files have contained patient records from 1953 to 1964. It’s rare to find stuff this old.

The hat rack has almost fallen.

This one looks like a dressing room of some sort.

A closer look at the label of the file.

By now it is almost certain, that this building has been used as offices later on.

The green papers are instructions on filling blankets.

And these are lyrics to traditional Finnish songs. Except for one, which seems to merge Norwegian with Latin.

The title says mailbook. I have no idea what that is.

There were balconies at the end of the corridors.

Christmas greetings.

A news bulletin issued by the organization for respiratory health from 1988. It remarks, that more and more hotels, motels and restaurants are launching smoke free areas. The world has changed.

I am done with the ground floor. Luckily there are two more.
The kitchen contained spools for rolls of developed 120mm film. I have used such containers many times. Fantastic post! 🙂
I knew you would once again have an answer! 🙂
