The shelf seen in the previous picture contained school books. Here we have at least material for a Swedish lesson.

A sixth grade English notebook. I’ve removed the name, but the owner is alive and well. And how do I know this? Well, wait and see.

There was also a Chistmas Greeting card addressed to the shopkeeper’s family. The card didn’t feature an address, just their names, the store chain name and postal code. The shop owner died in the 2010’s and their spouse back in the late 1990’s, if I did my research correctly.

An old lottery ticket is sticking from under the book.

An old oven used for heating and a book on health education on top of it.

The store was on the side of the village. Fields opened right behind it.

There was a shelf in the corridor. Let’s have a better look on top of it.

Fine cognac, vermouth and whiskey. At least they’ve enjoyed the high end of drinks.

It seems that there had originally been several apartments upstairs. There was a doorway from the corridor to another small hall.

A leaky roof and lovely old wallpaper.

Old cupboards in the hall.

A mess on the living room floor, and a familiar looking doorway.

The kitchen of the apartment featured a striking red plastic floor and kitchen cupboards from different eras.

There were also stoves from different eras.

Now wait a second. What’s this?

Receipts from January 1998.

This location, with almost a similar crop, has been used to photograph the promotion material for a dance performance.
Most of the crew are my friends, and they asked for an abandoned location in this area. As I usually photograph without permission from the owners, but they needed one for official materials, I gave them the name seen on the notebook cover and suggested, that the group contact them. They were granted permission. I was happy to help.
And of course I was. Most of them are my friends, like I said.

A lovely thermometer.

A bedroom.

The oven in the bedroom was larger than most of the ones seen in the building.

A look back towards the living room and kitchen. The end of this exploration is near. But not quite here yet.
