The final location of our roadtrip was this small grocery store – or what was remaining of it. I had read in the news that morning, that there had been a fire, which started in the middle of the night, which largely destroyed the store. The news were true.
The store wasn’t close to where I lived, and I think I only visited it once. That was when I was on a date and my date wanted ice cream. But after hearing of the fire I found it important to go take a photo of it. After all, I am a documentarian of some sort.
The ruin has since been demolished, and new blocks of flats will replace it.
