The Home Of God’s Shepherd Part II

Ads about changing to the Euro. I’m guessing, that the place was abandoned around 20 years earlier.

Another cassette from the Suviseurat. There’s been an eager buyer living here.

And the back of a third one.

The back of the ‘Tupa’.

A look through the window. A forest is slowly starting to surround the house.

A book about something. The title refers to flowers, but this may also be another religious thing. I don’t know, I didn’t open it.

Another cassette from Suviseurat in Hollola.

Letters to the inhabitant of the house. There were lots of them, and most of them started with the greeting ‘Jumalan terve’, ‘God’s Greetings’. Something, which the Laestadians use.

Ads of the local newspaper. Like I’ve stated earlier, I’ve worked for that newspaper. But not back in September 2005. Back then I was just starting high school.

More greetings. And an ad about Suviseurat in 1996.

A lonely boot standing on the top of a lot of letters. The person living here has gotten lots of mail. They must have been loved.

A look forwards towards the annex. This space between the rooms has been the original bedroom of the cottage before the expansion.

The top of a margarine box. As I’ve never seen the brand, it must be pretty old.

It looks like the annex is a new living room built when times got better.

And they did buy a wonderful set of chairs!

One more post to go from here.
