Near the collapsed home was another location, which had suffered a sad fate. This time it was more dramatic, though.
I originally found this place when looking for another location around a year earlier. At that time it was in the middle of the night, so I didn’t take a closer look. Back then I thought that the fire had been recent, but as the place still looks the same, it might have stood there for a longer time.
I found a news report from a fire on this street from way back in 2017. According to the news a person had been renovating the house and apparently sawed through a nail, which caused a spark, which lit the insulation in the floor.
Luckily nobody was hurt. In 2022 the ruin still stood.
