Another small room, which looks like it has been a home office.

There was even an aquarium.

One funny feature about this room were the lamps. The ones used in the house look more like those found in schools and offices, not in normal homes.

There have been music enthusiasts living here.

A mangle. Once quite a common thing in Finnish homes, it is rarely used anymore.
But this is when it gets a bit weird.

I’m pretty used to finding old disquettes and papers of old and dead people in abandoned houses. But those health insurance cards are a different thing.
They belong to a person several years my junior. If I estimate the date of abandonment of the house correctly, the person in question has been just a child, when all this stuff has been left behind.
I’ve erased all info on the cards from the photo. I knew I would do it already the day I took this picture. But ever since this discovery I started wondering what the hell has happened here, and where is that child, who is in their early 20’s, now?

The yellow files contained just magazines.

What has happened with this TV?

The room was filled with boxes.

Fairly old looking clothes in the closet.

The training kit of a football club. I once thought about collecting these from flea markets, but I passed on the idea.

The back side of the house contained a veranda with more papers.

The veranda also contained not just one but two exits.

A look back inside.

And upstairs we go. But not just quite yet.
