The Family Home Part I

Here, by a narrow road, is a small one family home. From the outside it looks like a completely normal house. But inside was one of the strangest urbex adventures of my career so far.

I’ve been to this door at least once, if not twice before. Back then it was closed and the only views I got were through the narrow window. Now somebody’s been here.

The door opens to a narrow hall with paint peeling off the roof, door and walls. It looks like the place has been abandoned for quite some time.

I presume this is the living room. It now is a miscellaneous storage with beer boxes of uninvited visitors here and there.

The blinds were shut. Although this was in the middle of the day, it was almost dark inside.

A fairly interesting item. I don’t know what it its, but it certainly rings.

Looks like the former kitchen. The mess here is total, too.

A look from the kitchen to the living room.

A better look at the kitchen. The chaos was just getting worse here.

Even the dish brush sits where it was left by the last inhabitants.

Another room, again full of stuff. Strangely enough the structure of the house is visible in the walls and roof and hasn’t been covered.

The bathroom. I think plastic walls like that were fashionable in the 1970’s.

The corridor running through the ground floor of the house was full of papers.

This room looks like a walk in closet to me.

A sauna kit and a small golden sneaker. The latter has probably been the property of a child.

It hasn’t gotten strange yet, but it’s about to!
