Welcome to yet another familiar location. This here is the former sawmill, which I first tried to enter in the spring of 2023 and later in the summer of 2023. The first time the issue was the build-up of ice in the collapsed part of the building. The second time it was the thick vegetation in the same section. Let’s see what things look like in November, when the vegetation has died, but the ice hasn’t yet had enough time to build up.
And it looks like I could actually make it.
And I indeed did.
I have no idea, what this space has originally been. But it is in a fairly bad condition after years of neglect.
Everything on top of the bricks of the wall has come down.

The toilets were very old fashioned, probably original. It is very rare to see such high water tanks in Finland.
This has probably been the dressing room judging by the rusty cupboards. This is where staff have entered and left the facility.
The largest part of the power plant, the turbine hall, is yet to be explored. I wonder if that day will actually come.
