Welcome back to the fibre factory last seen in 2020. While I had been gone, the factory buildings on the other side of the lot, which had suffered fire damage, had received a demolition permit. This side was still standing strong.
For obvious reasons I believed, that this side of the complex was still in some mixed use / small business / workshop use. The reason: somebody was actually building something over there. The hammering could be heard.
It was incredibly difficult to figure out if this was abandoned or not. There are missing windows, yet there are relatively modern cars.
And the staff parking lot is still overgrown.
The grey truck to the right of the picture even has a company name related to this place.
The chimney is one of the tallest structures in the town.

My suspicions were later confirmed by a group of people filming a documentary in the area. The abandoned buildings on the other side of it would be demolished. This side was very much still in use.
