A Doomed Area Part II

Going up the hill from the three row houses featured in the previous post were a house and a cottage. The house had originally housed higher ranking mine company staff. After that it had become a clubhouse for the local sports association. Their main field was right behind this hill.

The place was in a very bad condition.

I wasn’t looking for sus sex, but I could use a way in.

The entrance was to a large kitchen.

Everything was very old fashioned and the curtains were lovely.

Old yearbooks.

Exploring further downstairs. That’s the other entrance, I guess.

That wallpaper there was one of the more modern materials in the building.

Red fabric and something, which looks like the Finnish flag. Treating it like this is actually illegal.

A large room downstairs.

Clearly a nice place to hang out back in the days.

That thing looks like a very old cloakroom card.

Just look at that fabulous fireplace.

The other one wasn’t nearly as spectacular. But it was nice too.

The downstairs was quickly explored. Time to go up.
