Mambo No 5 Part II

The back door opened directly to a dark corridor with cold rooms and meat boxes. As every single window of the building was nailed shut, this would become a dark and messy exploration with very bad quality photos. Sorry for that, not sorry.

The cold room no longer contained food. It contained china and glasses, some of which looked quite old.

The main entrance to the hotel. The sofa looks really old.

This looks like a small corridor with a few motel rooms.

A standard room with once again pretty old looking furniture. The large windows have probably faced the lake creating a very unicue scenery towards the sunset.

There was also a small kitchen, which was pretty strange as there was a restaurant in the same building. Unless the motel has housed secondmend workers at some point.

Another room. Again the bed looks fairly vintage.

In the following room there was a couch screaming the 1980’s.

Another room. They all seem to be a bit different.

The corridor goes on.

One more. I’m sorry for the bad photo quality. It was difficult to photograph in there.

Room number one was the room of golden love?

The larger room is obviously the restaurant.

Which had a cozy little corner like this.

That thing is probably, where the lunch buffet has been served from.

The long counter is a reminder of better days.

Again a bad quality photo. But these are the restaurant windows facing the lake.

The jukebox has suffered quite a lot.

This must be the pub side.

The 1980’s called and wanted their sofa back.

The back of the pub with big windows facing the lake again. There seems to have been a small stage here. Performers were a thing back in the days, but later this must have been for karaoke.

Another dark photo of the area with more horrible couches.

Regulations on serving alcohol and a very original wall to wall carpet pattern.

The photo quality won’t become any better, but the posting from this location will continue.
