One Caught, Two Got Away Part II

Time to enter apartment number two.

Another small room.

House number two was visible behind the windows.

Old fashioned cupboards.

The kitchen.

The fridge’s brand was Hoover. I didn’t know, that they made fridges too.

Lots of cupboards on one wall of this room.

The bathroom was a bit more modern than the previous one.

Another room. I’m not sure which apartment is which anymore. The rooms are all too identical and too empty.

Another look at the corridor. Not all apartments were open.

The following kitchen.

An envelope for Christmas cards from 2006. Back in the days you could send Christmas cards cheaper en masse if you sent them in envelopes like this.

Another room.

And another balcony. By now I must have reached the second floor.

I think I’ve seen a room like this before.

And the same room from another angle.

More empty walls.

And moving again higher up. The squares on the walls of the stairway filled with art are a rather strange feature. I wonder, what has originally been there. Possibly a waste shaft.

Welcome to yet another kitchen, which has seen better days.

Here the lamp is still on the roof.

The room with the balcony on the third floor.

Judging by the floor and other equipment in the balcony rooms, these seem like some sort of cleaning and laundry rooms.

Moving on to the next apartment. It seems, that I haven’t bothered photographing all the bathrooms anymore.

Another vintage kitchen here, again a bit different from the others.

“Everybody’s out of strength. Just throw everything in the garbage!! :)”

Probably a message made by the last inhabitants, who didn’t bother to clean up after themselves. Looks like the handwriting of a young woman.

One more post to go from this location.
