The old mental asylum area contained a second abandoned building. This one originally hosted the wards of people, who stayed in for the longest.
The building was protected, but it had been owned for years by a property investor, who was undergoing severe financial difficulties and was involved in many court battles.
Compared to the previous building, this one was in a relatively good condition despite being empty and without heating and electricity for ten years.
There was no way in.
Surprisingly this story might have a happy ending. The company running the resort in the area bought it in 2024. The reason for their purchase was, that nobody else could buy it. They don’t yet have any plans for it, but they claim to maintain it in its current condition.
