The morning of Midsummer day dawned, and we were still not in our planned date location. After visiting the border control station, we found a bar literally in the middle of nowhere. There was a huge party going on with live music and stand up, and we stayed a while there. Eventually we camped on the parking lot of a beach and went for a night swim.
The first location in the morning was another familiar one.

Hiding behind the bushes is the one of the last two abandoned buildings of a mental asylum closed down in 2000. The rest have either been demolished or converted into tourism use.

This time I wasn’t going to enter. I had already managed to do that back in 2020. I just wanted to see, how the beauty was doing.

Sadly it turned out, that it wasn’t doing very well. No repairs had been done since my previous visit, and the building’s condition had gone from bad to worse.

I found it sad. If you haven’t yet realized, I love this style of architecture.

Oh, wait, something is happening here. The downstairs windows have been shut.

Yet the taggers had made their way inside.

The balconies were in a very bad condition.

This was the door throug which I entered in 2020. It has been properly shut now, too.

The owner of the building is now bankrupt. Its future is seriously in doubt.
