Moving back through the kitchen towards other parts of the building.

And again we meet one of the members of the lonely shoe club.

A sheet with the logo of the national telecom company in Finland. The logo was adopted in 1987 and Tele got a new logo in 1993. So the sheet is from between those years.

A room between the kitchen and the lobby.

Ads about an event at the association, date unknown. First there was a Hambo workshop on a Friday, then a dance on Saturday and a concert on Sunday, all featuring guests from Sweden teaching and performing. Needless to say, Hambo is one of my favorite dances ever.

A look back to the other direction from the lobby. The kitchen and back stage are behind the doors seen in the picture.

One of my classic window shots.

This tiny window is the ticket booth. This is where locals have bought their tickets to plays and dances. And you should know by now, what comes next.

Yup, the ballroom. This is the back of it.

And this is it in its whole prime. The roof has collapsed in one corner of the room.

This is just an incredibly beautiful and sad sight at the same time. The layout of the house reminds me of my home youth association, which is a well-kept, protected building. Time didn’t save this one, though.

The dolls still keep on appearing. This one is plotting something, I think.

The roof has given way, and the whole wall is rotten. This building is beyond rescue, unfortunately. The only thing holding it together is the boards making up the facade of the building.

Even the floor has collapsed here.

The roof doesn’t look too solid, either. This building has been lost.

Another old book. This is a very old version of the Jungle Book.

Important reminders.

And so we are back outside. This exploration is over. But we will meet my friend and the iron lady in future posts again.
