Here we are again, at the gates of a previously visited location, which I back then called the mystery factory.

The yard of the place was growing weed. It looked almost as if nothing had happened since my previous visit.

But since then I had actually managed to gather quite a bit of information about the place. It was a former sawmill. Closed down back in the 1950’s, it had since served small businesses, but it’s a bit unclear when it was abandoned. The area seems to be empty in aerial photos from 2015 onwards.

Back in 2020 I took a look through these doors, but was unable to enter because I wasn’t equipped well enough. Well, this seems like a creative way to shut off the buildings from everybody.

There was also a wooden wing, which mainly contained garages.

The wooden wing is to the right, while the power plant of the old sawmill is straight up ahead.

There was at least a carpenter’s workshop here at some point.

And some fences, which indicated, that at least something was done here at some point.

Moving between the buildings.

So this is where the carpenter’s workshop was located. I couldn’t find details about the date of its closure.

A view from between two buildings.

And for the first time I am inside the building. This counts as one. There wasn’t really much to see, though.

The power plant of the sawmill seen from the other direction.

And the back of the complex. This is actually a separate building from the better preserved one seen at the back.

The walkaround is almost complete. The separate building can be seen to the left.

And the back of the lighter yellow building is here. The walkaround is almost over.

The final photo from around the cape can be seen here. And this is where it ends.
The light yellow building and the wooden wing seen to the left of it were completely destroyed by fire a month later. Some buildings still remain, and I will definitely try to enter them later on.
