The Photographer’s House Part II

A closer look at the typewriter in the living room. I nowadays have a Remington from around the same era in my closet.

A portable radio. The fact that this is one of the less advanced electronic devices in this house, is something quite notable.

The sauna stove and a second stove used to heat water. The fact that they are separate, yet next to eachother, is a pretty interesting feature.

The sauna with an old candy box and a box for disposable plastic knives.

There was a time, when laundry was dried here.

A book by Mauri Sariola. I’ve only ever seen these in abandoned houses.

An old keyboard and the box of a photocopier. Another indication, that the inhabitants of this house really were into tech.

Moving back to the partly collapsed hall.

With a really vintage computer screen.

Congratulations to a 75-year-old. But to whom?

Now, this is where it gets interesting. There was mail addressed to someone in the area. I usually have my ways of finding out their fate, but this time they weren’t useful.

From this 1997 magazine it is apparent, that whoever lived here has been a photography enthusiast.

But who was it? Before I removed the personal info of the payer of this insurance bill, I noted, that it was a completely different name than the one on the previous letter.

And this bill featured the same surname as the previous receipt, but a different first name.

And these two bills featured the same surname as on the letter, but two different first names.

The only thing we know is, that somebody once lived here. And now their stuff has been left behind.
