Making Way For A Dream Home Part III

The final part of this exploration concentrates on the garage building and other buildings on the lot.

The garage was indeed a dominant part of the building. It rather looked like the garage back at my grandparents.

Oh, more stickers from Setele. Kind of cute.

Behind the garage was a large open space with a fireplace.

There was also this antler with a twist from The Ring on the wall.

The dressing room with some former sauna stones displayed on the wall.

And the sauna rules framed on the wall. These seem to be very old.

The sauna itself is from the 1960’s or the 1970’s. That’s a plastic cover on the wall, and it seems pretty similar to the one in the shower at my family’s 1990’s summerplace.

The old sauna stove. All of all, this place was starting to give out a traditional summer cottage vibe.

Like I said.

Another wonderful interpretation of a coat rack.

And the garage building seen from the outside. Despite its good looks, it was actually in quite a bad condition with mold smelling inside.

The final building on the lot was the old playhouse.

A look back at the sauna and garage building with the matching kicksled still on the porch.

And the decoration on the wall of the playhouse.

And an interesting bottle on the ground.

Well, the interior of the playhouse was pretty messed up.

It did contain some pretty interesting playing cards, one of which said, ‘I am a cow.’

A wooden thing with a not too common proverb. It was imitating a kantele, but it wasn’t one.

And a reference to Looney Tunes. But that was it.

And that was the end of the exploration. As of today, all of this has been demolished, and my friends are living in their new built home of their dreams.
