The hospital just continues. This wing is the absolute back side of the old part with only one entrance. Again it was closed.

Behind the hospital was another building. It seemed to contain the power station and techincal department.

The building followed the architecture of the older part of the hospital. So it must be original.

Those look like garages or storage halls.

I decided to go look more interesting parts from the other side of the building.

As I couldn’t find access, I next turned my eyes towards the three chain houses on the other side of the hospital area. They had originally been inhabited by hospital staff.

The first of the chain houses. These were built a the same time as the old main hospital.

The back side of the hospital seen from the road between the apartments and the hospital.

Another chain house seen from the back.

The mailboxes. It looks like nobody has lived in the houses for a while.

The technical building seen from the back. Even it might have contained some apartments for technical staff.

The house most far away from the road running past the hospital. It had just two apartments, which means, that it was the doctors’ building.

I suspect this, because it had only two apartments and garages for both of them.

I went as far as to check the back of the techincal building when looking for entrances, and indeed it contained apartments. Several of them. Those are terraces.

The garage of the doctors’ residential building. It hasn’t been used in a while.

The first chain house from the back. Even all these apartments had terraces. The standard of living was actually pretty good for the 1960’s.

The back of the H-shaped old hospital building for a change. The sandpit looks interesting.

And the front of the chainhouse for nurses. The end apartment looks bigger than the others. Maybe it was for the head nurse. Hierarchy in hospital back then was pretty strict.

An interesting sign, which could be translated as ‘keep calm’.

I again turned my attention back to the old hospital building. Now I’m guessing, but probably the doors directly up front are the original main entrance.

As I said earlier, the building was H-shaped. The wing to the right is the final one in the area still unexplored.

The main entrance, as I guessed. There’s a meeting room, three wards, dining hall and visitor space behind this door. I’ve blurred the name of the hospital for obvious reasons. Also a blurred self portrait here.

The other wing also contained very little possible entrances.

The exploration is almost over. The newer buildings already are up front.

And here’s the final view. No new conquests, but at least I documented the place.
