Now what do we have here, then?

Dull, public looking buildings with obviously a gym in the taller part. A school?

But wait a second, this complex is much larger, and it even has a some kind of a primitive garden instead of a playground.

It’s closed and unkept here.

If you read the title, you already know, that this is yet again another former mental asylum. Built in 1961 it was enlarged in the 1980’s. It was closed down in 2016. The hospital district even made a decision to demolish it, but they decided to try yet another auction. The hospital was sold late in 2020 cheaply to a local businessman, who wanted to rent it out to companies to bring more life to the area.

At the moment I don’t see much life.

Like I said, this wing was the gym. There’s also a sauna.

The use of several of the buildings remains unknown to me. Maybe I’ll find more signs.

There were several buildings with several wings. The hospital occupied a large area, but was only one or two storeys high. There were also several open windows, none of which were large enough for me.

The buildings were also prety irregularly shaped. There were several wings and courtyards.

I was alone in the area. I could just roam around and look for a point of entry.

I am shortly running out of commentary here. The place is so dull.

There was very little vandalism apart from some small attempts at tags.

There seemed to be some old stuff left behind.

A non smoking hospital, they claim.

A file. Maybe there indeed is a broken window somewhere.

Can’t seem to find one, though.

More small, open windows.

The form of the building got even more diverse here.

Ward two and the music room. This is a different building made of red bricks. Maybe this is from the older era of the hospital.

Yes. This definitely looks like an older building judging by the architecture.

Not that things look much more interesting here.

Although the buildings look older, they have been modernized. Air heat pumps weren’t used back in the days.

Ward two continues. Here we have the occupational threapy department.

Bushes hiding another section of the building. I indeed checked the old maps at this stage. The red buildings are from the early 1960’s and the white from the 1980’s.
There will be another post, but it looks like it will be a dull exploration.
