You Should Have Left Your Volvo Part II

The lamp in the living room was rather interesting.

The decorations looked fairly interesting, too.

Basics on the functions of engines. This might indicate that the inhabitant was a mechanic.

Looking for this door, the sign asks.

This is rather interesting. Sheets, which claim to tell about love.

It gets even more intresting. The print says ‘Law Of Home’ and it states all the things a wife must do.

The box contains the Christmas decorations of this home. I find them surprisingly often.

Some tools and a really, really old candy box.

The spice shelf of the kitchen. The potato flour has expired back in 2017, so the place really hasn’t been abandoned for that long.

Moving on to the final room of the tiny house.

The traditional collection of shoes found in every abandoned house. This time they weren’t pairless, though.

A real treasure, a very old radio. I would love to have one of my own one day.

In the red box is something, which was very common in Finnish homes back in the days. In Finnish it’s called an Angel Clock. It’s a small thing with four candles, and when they are lit, the thing rotates and makes a sound. It is used during Christmas time.

A fireplace in the bedroom.

And one final look at the kitchen. This was a good start to the day.

  1. I had an angel clock when I was a little girl, except that mine was a little larger and used six candles. My parents would bring it out during Christmas time and it had three tiers of people running in circles. I was fascinated by the thing at the time. lol
