In The Middle Of Nowhere Part V

Ok, let’s see, what’s up here, then.

A floppy disk. I’ve probably never even seen one, just disquettes.

There has been a nice wooden wall letting in light to the stairway. Unfortunately it has seen better days.

A plastic cigar case. That one must be old.

A small room upstairs. The other building is the teachers’ apartments.

Another small room next to the previous one.

A vintage tie. I would actually wear that. But I’m a specialist of strange ties.

Another small room.

And another small corner. It was starting to look like the floor had no classrooms at all.

A very old toilet, which has been painted over at least a couple of times.

The first floor corridor.

The largest room was indeed the one with the wooden wall. That is the lower wing with the classrooms and gym behind the windows.

Even the roof layout was fairly strange here.

A toilet seat ring has found its way here.

In the end of the corridor was a narrow, long room with stairs in the middle of it.

And a long lost floppy disk.

I have to admire the architect’s imagination, but what is the purpose of this room?

That must be the cutest fireplace ever.

This school is getting more and more interesting by each post.

    1. Now I have to correct myself. I have never seen or used one of the older, larger floppy discs seen in the picture. The newer ones I used back in the 1990’s.

In Finnish the two discs are referred to with a different name, which confused me a bit.
