In The Middle Of Nowhere Part IV

A horse book! I would have loved this on first grade, when I was living my horse fan girl era. The name ‘Graceful Black’ does give give out a bit different suggestions.

This fuse panel is in a bit better state than the previous one.

Another classroom with important messages (not) on the board.

A teacher’s guide to something.

The writings all have different dates. People have been coming here for years to destroy places. The location is so remote, they can do it without fear of being caught.

Poor him.

All kinds of books and files, Finnish and mathematics among others.

Another fairly strange corner.

The school gym.

This has got to be the smallest gym I’ve ever seen. It is the size of a regular classroom in this school and much smaller than the classrooms in the school I went to.

Another small room next to the gym. Has probably been a storage.

A very, very old football.

The front of the gym.

The windows have nets to protect them from ball strikes. Unfortunately they didn’t protect them from vandals.

This wing has been seen. Moving back towards the main school.

The song of the motherland. The instructions are to sing it devoutedly. I’ve never even heard of this song.

The cold corridor between the school wings. Let’s have a look at what’s on the floor.

The box of a Nokia 6110. I can remember my mother having one in the late 1990’s.

A civics book from grade 5. According to Wikipedia, civics has been taught as a mandatory subject until 2000. I was in primary school back then, but can’t remember ever having it.

A Frankie Valli music album. Can’t take my eyes off it.

And finally a map of European nations with some basic info about them and their flags. I had a similar one on my wall as a child.

The ground floor is all done. In the following post we’ll go up.
