Get Your Stuff But Don’t Forget To Explore Part III

The third building on the lot was, what looked like an ordinary house, yet older than the larger house I visited first.

Even this porch is slowly falling apart.

Suitcase ads.

This has definitely been a former kitchen with the old wood stove visible from under the suitcase company cardboard boxes.

A room with more dolls, clothing racks, shoe commercials and an old hoover.

Old company accounting from the early 1980’s. And now I think we have answers.

The accounting belongs to a local company selling shoes and leatherwear, which operated in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It seems, that when this company was closed, its remaining assets were stored here. It was ran by the person, who had also ordered the newspaper to Lapland.

This probably means that the buildings have not been lived in in closer to 30 years. While they technically still make up a storage, they are largely vandalized and have open doors.

The theory doesn’t explain that box of frozen sausage hash, though.

The boxes even contained several old lamps.

There’s something about the smile I find uncomfortable.

Old shoes and price tags.

A closer look at the old hoover.

More old boxes and pinkish pillows.

Envelopes with the logo of the company.

Looks like an old winter coat.

The final room was inaccessible due to debris.

This pretty much sums up the story of this building. Boxes and old furniture.

And here’s a look at the back side of the place. There would be a basement, but that doesn’t sound tempting right now.
