Home Of A Cult Part II

Another room, probably a former bedroom.

A view towards the living room. Like I said there was something off about the house.

Somebody’s been to the Canary Islands. Wonder, if they met my grandparents, who also often visited.

This is one of the strangest TV:s I’ve ever seen. It looks like a toy, really.

The owner’s taste of carpets was pretty different to mine.

This is what was so strange about the house. First of all doors like that are not commonly used in Finland. Secondly, wall panels like that are not used commonly in Finland. And thirdly the furniture and the carpet are way too luxurious for a rural Finnish house. This looks more like a villa in the South of France.

A wall full of cupboards. Again these are original.

A better look at the living room. Now pay attention to the window on the left.

This window is also very strange. Not only is it of a style, which I’ve never seen, but it also doesn’t match with the window frame outside, which is much larger and of a different shape. The strange scaffolding is also located right next to this window.

I have no idea, what is happening here.

There has even been a fan on the ceiling. Again not a very common feature in Finnish homes. It looks like somebody has made their living room a copy of Paris.

The chair has been stuffed with straw. It’s probably been a while since that was commonplace.

This is why I call it the Home Of A Cult. It has nothing to do with the inhabitants. Fooled you, didn’t I!
