The weekend came, the sun was shining. What would be a better way to spend it than to take my new summer car and go exploring.
Like the previous year, I started my urbex season by slowly exploring locations in or near the capital region. One of the locations on my list was an ordinary one family house in an isolated location. It was in the middle of suburbs, yet on the edge of a large park area.

There we have it. The building has appeared on maps since the early 1950’s.

There were several truck roll-offs and a car so badly damaged that I couldn’t recognize it on the yard.

The construction in front of the window is fairly strange.

It was all open windows and doors. Not very difficult to get in.

The windows and garden furniture were a scrap heap on the yard. Vandalism had been pretty intense.

They had even smashed the electric meter. Suppose there’s no power here anymore.

Despite all the windows, the veranda was surprisingly dark.

The hall. I can’t explain why, but at this point the place started giving me odd vibes.

First view from the kitchen. I suspect that most of the materials like the doors and roof panels are original.

The fridge wasn’t original, but it wasn’t too modern either. I wonder when this place has been abandoned.

The building was built in the era of wood stoves. The doors and drawers look a bit more modern than the rest of the kitchen.

Kind of creepy, kind of cute.
This place honestly gives me the creeps. It is beyond bizarre. Seriously. However, I’m reminded of an abandoned house I once explored years ago where there were people literally camping in the attic. There were drugs and drug paraphernalia everywhere, and the walls had all sorts of bad acid-trip inspired murals of monsters and strange juxtapositions of anamorphic animals.
Love the unicorn! 🙂
Some places just have that strange vibe. It’s difficult to describe, they just have.
Loved the unicorn too! 🙂
