This is another fairly strange feature of the house. That white thing over there is not a door upstairs. It’s the chimney. And yet there are stairs leading to it.

Instead the stairs are in a different place.

The headquarters. Of the cult?

Again I can’t help but to wonder why the house is so dark with all the natural light coming in.

Maybe someone was still sleeping here.

That sofa indeed looks old.

There was also a balcony, but the handrail was missing.

All the surfaces upstairs were covered with wood. Yet another interesting feature.

Some of the walls had been painted white.

Back when furs were still fashionable.

A bit more artsy postcards than the one from the Canary islands.

All in all the upstairs wasn’t nearly as interesting as the downstairs.

The car turned out to being an 1980’s Opel Ascona. Not a very common thing anymore.
I still can’t help but to wonder, what that thing in front of the window has been.

There were also two large containers on the yard. I wonder, if they were the former inhabitant’s, if the current owner is using the place as a storage or somebody just dumped them there.

At least there was aid for accident prone explorers.
The house was completely destroyed by fire in April 2023.
Stairs to nowhere is something that thankfully I have never seen in my fire department career, as these would confuse me and my crew if there were an emergency. This house was truly unique, indeed.
It was, indeed! Unfortunately the fire crews didn’t even reach the stairs when somebody set the house on fire. There was very little for them to do.
