Driving along, the next find was this clearly emtpy former store.
The story doesn’t tell, what it was. Clearly it was an early 20th century business building with room for two businesses. The wing in the back seemed like a storage and loading dock. The wing to the right seemed like an apartment wing.
But the sign at the front tells it all. The building was scheduled to be demolished to make way for a new building. And this is exactly what happened, since as of 2023 this building is no more.
Perhaps some inhabitants of the village could tell a lot more about this place. But the stories are out of my reach.
