Trying In Vain

And back at yet another familiar location. This time it’s the municipal home I also discovered back in 2022, but failed to gain an entry. I’ve now come to see if I would be more lucky this time.

At least the birches have grown since last year.

And if nothing has changed, I will pretty soon spot a camera.

The camera is to the left of the picture. There must be dozens of pictures of me from around the country by now, but I don’t mind being seen in them. It’s not illegal to walk around abandoned houses, it’s illegal to break them. And as I’m not into such things, I don’t have anything to worry about.

Approaching the older part of the complex.

The doors seem as well sealed here as they were in the newer part.

The old front yard.

The window renovations didn’t do the building justice.

Another dead end.

The newer wing. I actually find that one as interesting as the old one, as it is of the 1950’s architecture I so admire.

But even this side was well shut.

Approaching the far end.

I did a second walkaround for some reason. Hexagonal windows were a common part of buildings of that era.

And here’s a close up of what looks a transmitter. Cameras like this are usually used to photograph wild animals, this time I’m the wild animal.

No way in this time, either.
