Moving on to the second dressing room. It was a mirror image of the first one.

The soap dispensers are a more modern addition to the 1950’s looks.

I left the ballroom and went back to the hall. The first room there was a small office.

Or actually a combination of an office and a ticket booth.

The calendar on the wall is from 2009. I guess the place was abandoned after that summer season.

The dashboard of the ventilation system of the building.

The hall. There’s been a cloakroom where the dots on the wall are.

This was a bit surprising. There was a bunk in the corner of the cloakroom.

And a toilet next to it. Again it was fitted with the old fashioned toilet seats.

The small lobby. The entrance to the ballroom is to the right of it, the blocked main entrance is to the right of the picture. Let’s see, what’s to the left.

Well, there was a yellow corridor.

The door to the left of the previous picture revealed a room. I found the memoirs of a former teacher of the school, who moved to the main school of the municipality, when this one was closed in the 1950’s. She stated, that there were three classrooms and a movie theater in the building when she taught here. This must be one of them. The movie theatre I already visited.

The classroom wasn’t very big. There was a double door to the adjacent room.

The adjacent room was about double the size of the previous one. I think these are the two other classrooms merged to one, when the school became an association house. The blocked doorway to the second classroom can be seen to the right of the stone section of the wall.

And the same room seen from the other direction. When I was writing this post in February 2025 (yes, I always write them a long time before publishing to have something to publish during the summers, when I can’t write due to my roadtrips), the building was for sale. This room was marked as a gym.
So apparently, after school use ended in the 1950’s and the building became the local association house, two classrooms were merged to become a gym.

In the corridor, between the classrooms was a small kitchen.

Here’s one back door.

And here the entrance seen in one of the first external photos of this location.

And here’s the final picture from this location: the box to a resistor to the heating system of the building.
And this concludes the exploration. As of May 2025 the building and its lot were still for sale. Their future remains unknown.
