Halters For Every Hoof Part I

Well, well, well. The bushes around small, rural roads just keep on giving. This one looks a lot like an ordinary, old one family home.

It also looks like it has at some point been larger, but a wing of it has been demolished.

Or demolished by nature, it seems.

Trying to move in through the front. But wait a second, doesn’t that thing look like…

Not it, they. They look exactly like a fridge and freezer seen in old stores decades ago. Their glass parts have just vanished.

And the window to the right is definitely an old store display. This isn’t a former home. This is a former store. And a very small one, too. Probably the shopkeeper has lived at the back.

The main entrance grows birch.

And this is the shop. It was in a very bad condition.

The way to the collapsed part. That was probably a storage room.

The store to the other direction. Now I’m just guessing, but it is highly possible that the shopkeeper indeed lived there with their family.

There were what looks like a collapsed floor, a mailbox and a very old fashioned heater.

At the back of the room was the back door of the building and another door.

So there was a basement under the crumbling store. Not going in there, thanks.

A newspaper from 1992. This store surely can’t have functioned in such primitive conditions as late as that??
