You had to be careful when exploring the area. There was a barbed wire fence around some of the buildings, and it wasn’t very visible in the arriving darkness. The white house is the factory headquarters.

There was a fairly solid gate, too. However, the barbed wire wasn’t running next to it. So let’s take a look at that barrack next. It is actually manufactured by the box factory.

Yet more open doors. Wonderful.

Like I said, all the buildings were named after rivers. So what comes after Potomac and Amazon? Well, the Finnish river Kymi of course.

One more longing look towards the main factory, which looks surprisingly intact compared with all the other buildings on the lot.

But entering the barrack.

The purpose of this building was a bit unclear to me. But the plastic floor was striking.

It was actually a theme present everywhere in this area of the building.

Ancient laundry drying over here.

A fairly large room. Just guessing, but this might have been the staff canteen.

It had something integral to do with the factory. After all it was inside the barbed wire fence. Even the office building wasn’t.

But for some reason a part of the space looked like it had at least at some point been used as an apartment.

Looking to the other direction in the large space.

Moving on to the final open section of the building.

No doubt about it. This section had indeed been an apartment. The kitchen has been separated from the rest of the space with a low partition wall.

They’ve even enjoyed satellite TV here.

Looks like somebody has been living here until some 18 years ago.

A lot more time has passed since the previous kitchen renovations.

This building probably houses some storages, the privy and a sauna.

The barrack seen from the other direction.
Still more left to unbox.
