The closest look at the old factory, which indeed was in a seemingly good condition. I didn’t approach further, as I really wasn’t sure if it was abandoned or not.
Later that year I was contacted by a group of film students. They were filming this documentary and asked me for some help in finding filming locations. I’m not featured in the end titles, because I specifically asked to remain anonymous.
I got an invitation to the premiere and spoke with the production crew. They had contacted the owners of these premises. It turned out, that the old factory was indeed in use as a storage for old cars and other hobby vehicles. I’m glad I didn’t go any further.
The old headquarters looks extremely sad. There’s very little light left now, but still one more building to unbox.
By the way, why have I gone into this unboxing thing? I thought it was a clever headline, but now I’m just unboxing everything.
