The Road To Happiness Part IV

The first room in the basement was pretty light.

It was also pretty large. And there was an exit.

There was something, which looked like a kitchen. It was probably a café for the community center visitors.

There was also a pretty interesting structure.

And these are the stairs to the exit behind the door seen earlier.

Another look at the basement. The stairs, through which I came, are to the right.

And suddenly I was heading outside. I exited through this window.

The window, which I entered through, is the one next to the blocked door to the left. The window, which I exited through, is above the stairway to the right.

Before entering this location, I had contacted a fellow urbexer, whom I knew through Instagram. I had told them, that I would exit this location at 12.00, and told them that I’d be expecting a cold beer, when they would arrive.

And they did arrive with a cold beer. Now, here’s an explanation about the name of these stories.

The chapel was located on a street called “Onnelantie.” That sort of translates to the road to happiness. Which is the name of this location.

The facade of the building.

And the entrance.

It was pretty impossible to try to find a good photo of the whole building.

And here is the last photo I took after drinking the beer.

The chapel was demolished during the summer of 2022. A new house now occupies the lot.
