So I found stairs to the attic.

In this part of the building the attic was just a cold storage space. The bright light is not a fire, it’s a sunset.

The attic was full of stuff and I wasn’t quite sure about the integrity of the floor. I chose not to move very far from the top of the stairs.

As you can see, the mess is total. Theres everything from magazines and newspapers to kitchen appliance ads.

And baby clothes. Okay.
Towards the other wing of the house there was less mess and more light. As I could now see what I was walking on, I headed that way.

As I expected: the teacher’s apartment. The old couch is just lovely. Unfortunately it is broken.

A second couch, which also functions as a bed.

This room is facing the courtyard. The gym wing can be seen through the windows. I believe this to have been the kitchen.

Or actually it’s not a guess. the oven kind of reveals it.

I’m surprised that there was running water. The plumbing seems a bit old fashioned, though.

A very old magazine. The title is a quote from someone, who has said: ‘A human can’t be discouraged in front of injustice.’ Strong words.

Pekka is aod or Pekka is God?

The main entrance. The windows are to the classroom I visited first.

Back to the living room.

And to the actual main stairway of the building, which the inhabitants used.

A small cupboard full of random stuff. The turquoise box with the pink letters has contained an inflatable pool.

Going down. The stairway was simple, yet beautiful.

A look from the other direction. The paint is very worn.

The menace of every abandoned building: lonely, single shoes looking for a pair.

And here we are: below the stairs in the final room, which I couldn’t access earlier because of the damaged floor.
But this isn’t the end yet. As some very basic human need things like toilets don’t exist here, they probably are yet to be found.
