To The Unknown Part IV

As the people left for biggest cities, not only did schools and apartments in this former town center take a hit. Businesses did too.

The road running ahead from left to right is the main street of the former town center, now a village. And if I’m not entirely mistaken, that yellow beauty hiding behind the bushes is a typical building with two floors – the downstairs for a business and the upstairs for an apartment. Every single town and village in this country was full of them until the 1960’s came with a new form of architecture.

Although in a very central location, the building has been boarded shut since at least 2009, when the Google Street View Car first patrolled here.

To the left of the photo is the last functioning grocery store of the village.

It looks like there have been four apartments here. Wonder when the last light was shut down.
