Concrete Dreams Part IV

I don’t know how many rooms were in the main building, but only 27 here. Not a very large hotel this one. I really don’t wonder why it wasn’t profitable, because it’s in a suburb far from everything.

Let’s go see what’s on the small yard behind the building.

But before that an interesting feature on the yard. Has someone really tried to clean up here?

And a view towards the back yard from the balcony.

There was a ramp, probably for wheelchairs or baby carriages. It was so steep, I hope nobody tried to use it.

And so we are behind the building.

The routes here have been made of wooden planks, which are now mostly rotten or covered by old leaves.

Every room had a balcony.

And somebody had entered through most of the balcony doors, it seems. Notice, just how steep the ramp is.

Up front is the part connecting the two wings of the bolt together. Even this building along with the sauna and the former employer apartments is protected. The last one of course already lives a new life.

I mean how did they leave this place if they left their trousers here?

More aspiring graffiti artists here. The one on the left looks like a Soviet company logo for some reason.

More signs of life: broken garden furniture and a drying rack.

Statements.

There’s something disturbing about that birdy.

The back side wasn’t very interesting and there was no way in, so I decided to return home using the stairway between the main building and the accommodation building.

The garden lamps have had a rough time.

The main building once again. Notice, how close the neighbours are.

Wouldn’t exactly rate it five stars.

One more view from the front. Like I said, an investor wanted to make this a luxury nursing home, but so far it had been quiet.
